Cominar Introduces its Consolidated Management Team

Cominar is pleased to introduce its consolidated management team under the leadership of Mario D. Morroni, President and Chief Executive Officer. Since his appointment last May, Mr. Morroni has built a multi-talented team whose mission is to create sustainable value in the portfolio by building forward-looking communities where people can work, live and play.

Marie-Andrée Boutin Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President, Operations, now oversees all operations in the office sector, in addition to the retail and development areas. Our shopping centres, which are everyday destinations with a wide range of services, will become modern and distinctive living environments where a range of commercial, residential and office spaces will be available. By sustainably transforming the urban landscape, Marie-Andrée and her teams will be at the heart of Cominar's new mission.

This mission is driven by the determination to create memorable experiences, which is why Sandra Lécuyer was promoted to Chief Culture and Brand Officer last September. By combining these areas of expertise, we are aiming to create an inspiring corporate culture and a strong brand that will enhance the human experience in our spaces for both our employees and our customers.

Adam Medeiros, who joined Cominar as Chief Investment Officer last March, leads investment initiatives that will allow Cominar to redeploy capital to the most promising assets for value creation. With his experience in brokerage and investment in major real estate firms, Adam has a keen understanding of the financial considerations surrounding the repositioning of Cominar's portfolio in accordance with its new mission.

Claude Lavigne completed the executive team by joining Cominar last August as Chief Operating Officer. In addition to overseeing asset management, portfolio valuation and financial planning and analysis, he is also responsible for optimizing processes, systems and data to maximize value creation. An industry veteran, Claude has built a solid reputation in all areas of real estate investment and operations.

Cominar can also count on the experience of Sébastien Dubois, Vice President, Leasing – Retail; Julie Lafrenière, Vice President, Development; Carl Pépin, CPA, CA, Vice President, Finance and Accounting, and Serge Rossignol, who was promoted to Vice President, Operations last August.

Marie-Josée Lapierre, newly hired as Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary completes the management team. With over 20 years of experience as a lawyer, she will oversee the operational and transactional aspects of legal affairs as well as corporate governance and risk management matters.

"The rich backgrounds of everyone in our new management team, their leadership qualities and their values give me great confidence in our ability to lead Cominar into the next phase of our strategy," stated Mario D. Morroni, Cominar President and Chief Executive Officer. "I have assembled this team with the objective of ensuring that we can work and act collectively to define and implement Cominar's ambitious plan, with the help of our employees, who are demonstrating their commitment and the excellence of their work every day.”

Cominar is poised for a remarkable year with the ambition of shaping modern, landmark communities that will create a lasting impact on the urban landscape while meeting the needs of people and businesses.
