Barely two years after the groundbreaking, Mostra Centropolis has been inaugurated. And the project continues to grow! The success of the first two phases of our project in Laval has led to the addition of a 3rd phase of 187 units. This brings the total number of residential units to 550, built with our project partners around Centropolis, a unique shopping centre in Quebec. The announcement was made at last Thursday’s grand opening, which gathered over 200 people in the new building’s lobby.
“The opening of the first residential building in our Laval destination is a milestone that embodies our ambition to shape modern and remarkable communities where residents, retailers, and consumers coexist,” said Marie-Andrée Boutin during the event. “We are privileged to partner with two outstanding collaborators for this first project: Cogir and Divco. I want to take this moment to thank them and express our confidence that Mostra Centropolis will be managed with excellence by the Cogir team.”
A Memorable Evening
Representatives of the partners, tenants, and retailers of Centropolis gathered to celebrate this important moment for the neighbourhood. Together, they enjoyed bites from the restaurant Les Enfants Terribles, listened to inspiring speeches from Jean-Marc Bélanger and Marie-Andrée Boutin, enjoyed the lively entertainment by Kevin Raphaël, and met their new neighbours. A tour of the units also gave curious attendees the chance to discover the residential experience of the project.
The evening was also an opportunity to present a gift set, including a Vitrine Cominar gift card and access to the Cominar Privilège program, to all new residents. Thanks to this distinctive launch offer, new members of the Centropolis community will be able to discover and fully enjoy the unmatched dining and shopping experience of their new neighbourhood, as well as its popular events.
The launch occured in November 2022, and the leasing office opened a year later. At maturity, our Centropolis destination will feature 3,000 residential units.
