An Encounter With Earth: An Immersive Experience at DUO Centre Laval and Mail Champlain
From April 16 to 24, two of our destinations offer their communities a tailor-made program to celebrate Earth Day. 360° projections, educational conferences, and in-nature yoga sessions will take place... in a giant immersive dome.
"The acceleration of climate change is at the heart of our communities' concerns," explain Kelianne Lamothe and Tamara Turcotte, marketing coordinators at Cominar. "We collaborated with various organizations and our retailers to encourage taking care of the planet."
Raising Awareness and Providing Tools
Designed to raise awareness and provide tools to the community regarding environmental issues, the program opens the door to fascinating discoveries.
Video projections in the dome by the Quebec company Nest Immersion will take viewers on journeys around the world. Workshops and conferences by Earth Day, Decathlon, Bicycles Quilicot, and the Armand-Frappier Museum will provide further insight into one's ecological footprint. Yoga sessions by Yoga Tribes and Decathlon in collaboration with Naturaktive will offer an inspiring moment of relaxation.
