Cominar Shopping Centres Unite for the Pink Cause

Making a Difference, One Portrait at a Time: A Meaningful First Participation in Une pose pour le rose

For its first involvement in the Une pose pour le rose fundraising campaign, Cominar and its shopping centres are proud to have contributed to a province-wide movement that brought together communities, teams, and partners in support of an important cause.

From April 11 to 26, Cominar and its shopping centres took part in the 7th edition of this fundraising initiative benefiting the Canadian Cancer Society and dedicated to breast cancer. Thanks to the commitment of hundreds of volunteer photographers and thousands of participants across Quebec, a total of $165,000 was raised.

Overall, 3,800 women were photographed throughout Quebec, including 150 at Cominar shopping centres: Alexis Nihon, Centropolis, Galeries Rive Nord, and Mail Champlain.

“This day left a profound impression on me. Seeing so many women come together, share a meaningful experience, and contribute to such an important cause reminds us why we do what we do. For one day, our shopping centres became true places of human impact.”

Making a Real Difference in Our Communities

Beyond the numbers, this initiative perfectly reflects Cominar’s commitment to supporting meaningful projects that are deeply rooted in the communities it serves.

By hosting Une pose pour le rose in its shopping centres, Cominar helped make community engagement accessible, tangible, and inspiring—one portrait at a time.

We are proud of this first participation and grateful to everyone who helped make it a success. Together, we demonstrated that our shopping centres can be much more than places people pass through—they can be true spaces for positive social impact.
